On arrival, you’ll climb a set of stairs to your bright and welcoming apartment, where the open-plan living area enjoys fabulous views across West Bay’s picturesque harbour. This light-filled space is filled with Scandinavian-inspired furnishings, wood-panelled walls and lovely coastal-themed touches. Prepare tasty meals in the well-equipped kitchen then sit down for meals by the window. There’s also a cosy lounge area where you can catch up on your favourite TV programmes. When it’s time for bed, the peaceful super-king-size bedroom awaits. If needed, extra guests can be accommodated on the pull-out sofa bed and day bed in the lounge. A contemporary shower room with WC completes the accommodation. Outside, you’ll have the benefit of a shared garden, so you can take a cuppa and a book out and enjoy the fresh sea air. Off-road parking is available beside the pub for guests and owners on a first-come, first-served basis, although spaces are not allocated. There are also public car parks close by (100 metres, charges may apply).
Within West Bay, you can wander around the bustling harbour then perhaps join a boat trip to Lyme Regis, or head out on a fishing excursion in the bay. The South West Coast Path, joinable 500 metres away, offers breathtaking walks with spectacular sea views, while the lively market town of Bridport (1.5 miles) is home to the historic Palmers Brewery, established in 1794. For even more outstanding scenery, visit Symondsbury Estate (3 miles) and climb Colmers Hill for sweeping coastal panoramas. The charming seaside town of Lyme Regis (11 miles) also makes an excellent day out, with its independent shops and fossil-rich shoreline.
