Soak up the mesmerising views of Swanage Bay from this elegant, coastal-themed penthouse. Host a special getaway with up to five other guests in this bright and spacious property in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spend your time exploring the local eateries, clifftop hiking trails and historic attractions.

As you enter the apartment, you’ll find yourself in the airy open-plan lounge/diner, which is decorated with nautical tones. Sit beside the patio doors which lead to the balcony while relaxing on the sofas in front of the TV. Gather around the wooden dining table for a hearty home-cooked meal. Next to this is the neutral-toned farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden worktops and elegant tiles. Unpack your bags in one of the three bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, a double and a twin room. There is also a family bathroom. Outside, you’ll find a garden that is shared with neighbouring properties. A path runs alongside the apartment and takes you to the beach (200 metres).

Why not start your day by swimming in the sea at the golden, sandy Swanage Bay (200 metres) during your stay? If you fancy a big clifftop hike, head along the South West Coast Path until you reach Old Harry Rocks on the Jurassic Coast (4 miles). Stroll around the centre of the town (0.5 miles) and discover the quaint tearooms, cosy pubs and historic attractions – such as the 19th-century Swanage Pier and the Swanage Steam Railway (both 1 mile).

We really enjoyed our holiday at Seascape and would book it again. The only downside was that although the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly clean, we felt that the kitchen was in need of a deep clean. Drawers were grubby and cupboard doors and handles in need of a good scrub otherwise all was fine. The view and position of the property were woRead morenderful and we will not be put off from coming next year. Hide

This property is ideal for a family seaside break. The flat was ideal for our three generations: grandparents in the ensuite, us in the double and teenager in the twin. The lift made it accessible for everyone We made good use of the hotel swimming pool and the beach hut was great.
