Host a special getaway with a group of up to seven other guests and one four-legged friend in this elegant and spacious property. It boasts a large garden, a bright dining room surrounded by glass windows, and a stylish mix of contemporary and traditional decor. Enjoy the quiet rural location while staying in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the traditional seaside town of Swanage nearby alongside sandy beaches and the picturesque Old Harry Rocks.

As you enter this detached country property, you’ll find yourself in the sunny porch and hallway. Walk across the underfloor heating into the cheerful farmhouse-style kitchen. Choose from one of two dining areas to gather with your loved ones for a feast – the formal dining suite has a traditional country feel with a wooden table and antique-style chairs, and the sunroom offers a more casual atmosphere. Here, you’ll find another wooden table with seating for eight and a comfortable sofa. The lounge is neutral-toned with an eye-catching, exposed-stone feature fireplace and a Smart TV. Down five steps are the family bathroom and a twin room with an en-suite bathroom. Completing the property is a separate WC plus four bedrooms – a double, twin and bunk bedroom. Outside, you’ll find a large south-facing garden with a lawn.

Set in the sleepy village of Woolgarston, you’ll be surrounded by tranquil countryside and just 4 miles from Swanage. Here, you’ll find historic attractions, a sandy beach, and an array of eateries for a delicious meal. Head south to reach the windswept clifftops of Dancing Ledge (3 miles) – which is an excellent spot for a picnic at sunset. Set off for a day trip to Old Harry Rocks (5 miles) and visit the expansive Studland Bay (5 miles).

This is an excellent family house, with space and a beautiful aspect. It has a pleasing old-fashioned atmosphere and children can't cause damage. Generous with bathrooms and living rooms, our family had a comfortable and enjoyable holiday, whatever the weather. We found the location convenient for all our activities.

The property and grounds are beautiful however even though there have been a lot of improvements since my last stay the cleanliness from the changeover is still poor e.g sofa covered in stains and pet hair, dirty cutlery in drawer , oven not clean etc. If there was a mop to go with the mop bucket I would have washed the floors before I left. Location was perfect, close to beaches and places of interest. Views great, very quiet , house was perfect for us. beautiful spot to relax but if more active many walks from the house.
