Set off on a coastal adventure with a group of up to six other guests and stay in this quirky property with a sociable open-plan living space and a balcony. Get to know the charming seaside town of Swanage, where you can enjoy lazy beach days, special meals out at the nearby seafood restaurants, and hikes along the coastal path with impressive sea views to the striking white sea stacks of Old Harry Rocks.

Make yourself at home in the bright, open-plan lounge/diner, which is lovingly decorated with coastal-themed art and furnishings. Unwind on the sofa or armchairs before dining together at the chic table which sits beside the window. Prepare a hearty meal in the traditional galley kitchen with dark worktops and wooden cabinets, while admiring the views through the window. Also on this floor are two bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a family bunk bedroom with a single bed over a double. Climb the stairs to reach a mezzanine king-size bedroom which boasts a sofa, desk and en-suite wet room. Completing the interior is a family bathroom with eye-catching checked flooring. Outside, there is a balcony which can be accessed via the mezzanine bedroom.

Head along the coastal path to the 19th-century pier (0.5 miles) and keep going until you reach the panoramic sea views of Peveril Point (1 mile). Well equipped property in an incredibly convenient location. Supermarket and Swanage station are literally at the end of the road. Our second stay here, both during February half term, and seeing the steam of the train from the windows is always a delight. Will probably come again if circumstances allow.

Bathroom in onsuite needs a refurb, very grubby and a lot of mould on door and around shower. Very offputting. Stairgate unusable as parts missing. Overall cleanliness not great!
