One of four properties in a converted cider mill farm in Netherbury, this beautiful cottage provides ideal self-catering accommodation for solo adventurers or couples. Just steps away from the River Brit, it reaps the benefits of its pastoral setting whilst providing a modern, homely base. Creating a light, bright and stylish space finished with lots of attractive details and thoughtful touches, you will immediately feel at ease. For local conveniences, there is a pub 1 mile away and shops 2 miles away.

On one level, this cottage has an open-plan design and vaulted double-height ceilings adding to the spacious feel. Come inside through the stable door and take in the comfortable and contemporary vibes. With a sofa and armchair, and providing books as well as a TV, there are plenty of options for relaxing at home. Pour yourself some tea in the kitchen as the wood burner glows in winter or cook up a mouth-watering feast. To lend a sense of occasion to meals, there is a dining table for two. In the bedroom, an equally attractive space awaits. Featuring a double bed (new mattress for 2022) and lots of light, you can start your day feeling refreshed and revived. Attached to the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom with large shower cubicle, WC and heated towel rail. Outside, you can fully appreciate nature with the sounds of the mill stream and wild birds. Feel free to make use of the shared, sloping gardens or cross over the small footbridge to get to your own private garden with BBQ and two terraces; a real summer haven.

Surrounded by verdant fields and pretty country lanes, walks are in abundance nearby. For a coastal backdrop, head to West Bay (6.5 miles) and go for a drink in the beachside cafe. Of course, there are lots of town adventures to be had too, with Beaminster 2 miles and Bridport 5 miles away.

The cottage was very comfortable, equipped and furnished to a very high standard . The welcome pack contained lots of good quality goodies which were appreciated. We found the cottage very dark inside due to the small windows and nearby trees so it was necessary to have lights on even on a sunny day. It was an excellent base for walking with many wRead morealks straight from the cottage, and maps and walking books were provided. Hide

The living area is rather dark due to small low level windows and the closeness of all th trees. The living area would benefit from additional light perhaps a couple of light tubes or a velux roof light /higher window in the gable end wall to allow additional light to the area.

A perfect bolt hole. Well managed and the information/guide answered all our questions. We were there for a fortnight (in November) and loved every moment. Excellent woodburning stove. The welcome pack was inspired, and introduced me to Isaac's Cider, which is gorgeous. All in all, perfect.

Small conversion but adequate for a couple. Located on edge of pretty little village in own grounds with plenty of wildlife to see. No local amenities but good pub with home cooked food a gentle twenty minute stroll away across the fields.
