Excellent. We both had a lovely time in Buttercup Cottage. One of a row of four cottages in a peaceful rural area. Easy to find from the instructions provided and plenty of parking. Comfortable beds, comfortable sofa and chair. This compact cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. When we arrived the fire was already lit, which was a welRead morecoming touch, as was the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. Hide

Buttercup is a well equipped cottage in a quiet location. The beds and furniture were comfortable. This is a good location for visiting South Somerset and West Dorset, it was less than 1/2 hour to get to the coast. We had a nice meal at the Winyards Gap Inn at Chedington, which had lovely views. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Booked very last minute for the Bank Holiday Weekend. We knew the coast would be heaving, so we wanted somewhere quiet but within easy reach of the coast and the location was perfect. The cottage was beautiful, clean and well equipped, with very well planned interior design making great use of the space. The location of the cottage on the farm was fine though there were two sets of people alongside with dogs which wandered a bit and owners called them late at night. The history of the farm was very interesting and it would have been nice to meet the owners, who appeared to have no contact with guests., which was a shame.

We had a lovely week in Buttercup cottage on Buckham Mills Farm. The setting is beautiful and the views from the converted cow sheds are stunning. Lovely location. Generally very comfortable but living area much smaller than it appears to be in the photos. Intended for four but would have been very cramped if there had been four of us.
