This stunning thatched cottage is the ideal retreat for families seeking a holiday by the sea, located less than a mile away from exciting coastal walks, historic landmarks and an abundance of places to sample fresh seafood.

This charming thatched cottage in the picture-perfect location of Lulworth Cove has everything you would expect from a typical country home. Sleeping five, the property is perfect for all, with two dogs welcome too. With the beach, a pub and a shop all on your doorstep, it’s the perfect location if you want to leave your car at home.

This thatched cottage combines traditional features such as wooden floors and open fireplaces with modern conveniences. Leave your coats and boots in the hall after a walk from the beach and enter into either the dining room, with its comfortable seating area, or the kitchen/breakfast room to make yourself some lunch. The adjoining utility room leads to the terrace outside, which is the perfect spot for a morning coffee, and there is a convenient downstairs WC. The large sitting room, down two steps, has a wood burner and TV, ideal for relaxing evenings in. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with reduced ceiling height: a 5ft double, a single and a twin, plus a large family bathroom. To the front of the cottage, up two steps from the pavement, the front garden is walled with lawn and shrubs. The rear garden is a real haven, with a private terrace. Further up the sloped garden is another terrace with a seating area where you can enjoy the sea views.

With stunning Dorset attractions on your doorstep, including Lulworth Cove (400 metres) and Durdle Door (1 mile), you’re spoilt for choice for things to see and do on your doorstep. Take the South West Coast Path towards Weymouth in the west (13 miles) or towards Swanage in the east (30 miles). Inland is Lulworth Castle, 3 miles away; a 16th-century castle which all the family will enjoy exploring.

A beautiful cottage in a superb location. Plenty of places to visit and an abundance of eateries on the doorstep. The Lulworth Cove Inn is a great ,good food and excellent staff, but be sure to book. Lulworth Cove gets very busy with one of the largest car parks you will ever find! In dry windy weather the car park becomes a dust bowl . What a fabulous location. We loved the picturesque cottage, very spacious, well equipped and very clean. From the property there are many short and longer walks, all beautiful. The cove, shops, pub, museum, cafe and more all on your doorstep. Fabulous holiday.

Cajun Cottage is a beautiful house in a wonderful location. There are fantastic walks on the doorstep if you can prise yourself out of this comfortable welcoming house. The views from the top of the garden are not to be missed and it is a great place to sit with a book and a glass of something. Cajun Cottage was a lovely place to stay for our short break. The cottage was nicely appointed and a cosy place to come home to at the end of the day. The access time of 5pm felt very late and we were hanging around waiting to gain access with a car full of our possessions and the departure time of 9am was really too early. Wonderful cottage in an excellent location (which is why we picked it!). Rooms all a good size, great shower and a lovely multi level garden with great views. Parking in the allocated space in the coach park was not a problem.

A wonderful week at Lulworth cove. The cottage is perfectly located and has wonderful views from the top of the steep garden. Despite the low ceilings the cottage felt roomy with plenty of space and a downstairs toilet. The parking spot is great too. All in all we loved our stay at Cajun Cottage.

Cajun Cottage is a beautiful place to stay for all the family including your four legged friend. The proximity to the cove is perfect for an early morning and late evening stroll. Local walks are breathtaking and the local pub is friendly and the food is lovely. Having a free parking space in the very busy and expensive car park was a real bonus. My family had a wonderful time at Cajun Cottage, a beautiful property with plenty of scenic coastal walks & short drives to places of interest. The garden, has lovely views towards the bay and is a great spot for dinner. There are plenty of pubs near by to dine at. The only down side is the lack of shops close by. Cajun Cottage is a ideal retreat and located in one of the best spots in West Lulworth. There were 5 of us and the dog. We had 3 teenagers who loved the fact that they had their own lounge (the dining room) away from the adults. Can't fault it!

Ideally located very close to Lulworth Cove with its beach, shops and food vendors. Enjoy the walk to Durdle Door/ Man OWar. Easy to travel further afield. The cottage had everything we needed and a beautiful garden with sea views. Having the parking space was excellent. We loved our week at Cajun Cottage.
