For something more urban yet still on the coast, the popular seaside town of Weymouth is 15 miles away; its Victorian esplanade, seaside activities and range of attractions provide something for everyone. Also worth a visit is the National Trust’s historical Corfe Castle and village (11 miles), from here you can catch the train to the seaside town of Swanage. Lulworth itself also has a range of shops/eateries to choose from. For families, there is Monkey World and The Tank Museum almost on your doorstep.
