You can rent a bike from the local council run hire stands and cycle along the coast, taking in the fresh sea air and beautiful beaches en-route to Mudeford Quay (3.4 miles) and Christchurch Harbour (3.6 miles). The New Forest National Park, (4.2 miles) is where you can cycle or stroll through wonderful heathland, forest trails, catching glimpses of the New Forest ponies and other local wildlife or in the opposite direction the amenities of Christchurch (4.2 miles) and Bournemouth (11 miles) are well worth a visit.
