A quiet, peaceful and pleasant location, with lovely views of the river. The owners were friendly and helpful and seemed appreciative of a couple of comments we made whilst there. We've stayed at this cottage three times now, and would happily return. It has a lovely aspect overlooking the river and fields, and a log burner in the lounge. The property is always warm in winter. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, nice and relaxing. Saw deer both in the field across the river and in the garden. Really cosy with the log fire. Spacious accommodation, and we enjoyed use of the zip wire and swing in the woods.

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage. James was on hand if needed but was not intrusive. Enclosed garden was ideal for our dog Lindy and the river was no problem as she doesn't like water. Plenty of dog friendly places and pubs in the surrounding area. Weather was a bonus which added to a very pleasant and relaxing holiday.
