On arrival you’ll first spot the owner’s koi pond, a pretty addition that welcomes you to this unique accommodation. Step inside to find an open-plan lounge/diner which is spacious, bright and cheerful. Sink into the armchair or comfy sofa and catch up on your favourite shows late at night. The kitchen can be found next door, a contemporary space with galley-style fittings and all of the required cooking amenities. And finally, the inviting king size bedroom can be found right here on the ground floor, accompanied by a modern shower room with WC.

 

Follow a stunning route along the River Lim to get to Lyme Regis (2 miles), a much-loved tourist spot with seaside attractions and plenty of sandy beaches to spend the afternoon. Venture down to the shingle shores of The Cobb to embrace water sports, swimming or surfing when the conditions are right. From here you can explore the Jurassic Coast, a heritage attraction where you could go fossil hunting on the beaches. Be sure to visit Weymouth (28 miles) throughout your stay, soaking up the far-reaching sea views on your travels via car or public transport and grab a bite to eat in this popular seaside town.

A lovely cottage which was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we had a delightful week in this peaceful location.

Apart from the comment regarding the mattress the cottage was well appointed with high end appliances. It had very effective underfloor heating except in the bedroom which has no heating (not needed). There was sufficient parking for a car. Beware that many of the roads around the area are single track roads. If coming from the north avoid sat-nav Read moredirections as the roads are single track and very steep in places. Owner's guidance regarding getting to the cottage advisable. Shower room snug! Hide

A great cottage for 2 to get away from the crowds in. Hosts are on hand if and when you need them Cottage is well equipped and the underfloor heating is a revelation. The cottage is very comfortable with lots of extras: dishwasher, washer/dryer, a good shower, freesat TV, dog treats etc. It felt really clean and the owners were so helpful if we needed anything. We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. Immaculate and very comfortable we felt totally at home. The surrounding area is outstanding with plenty of places to visit and lovely walks. Although it's just three hours from London and the South East, Dorset feels like a world away from the hubbub of the city.
