A stylish apartment split over two floors in the heart of one of the south coast much loved seaside resorts. A great base to explore the beauty that is on offer here.

Just 3 miles from the vibrant seaside resort of Bournemouth with its 10 miles of sandy beach and attraction-filled pier, escape to the coast for a holiday to remember. Sleeping six guests over four bedrooms, bring your four-legged friends along too and hunt out the best spots to walk and play fetch. Return home from fun-filled days out and about and continue your evenings al fresco in the pretty garden or snuggle up in front of your favourite film for a movie night.

Make your way to the first floor and into the open-plan living space where a comfortable, corner sofa and large windows create a welcoming and relaxing ambience- particularly inviting after days adventuring. Switch off in front of the Apple TV or put a film on after dining at the table which shares the space. Cooking up a storm can be a relaxing task as the kitchen has a calming feel with lots of natural light and bright, fresh tones. Fill the cool, colourful fridge with goodies and prepare delicious ingredients and flavours to savour with other guests. Great for informal meals, staggered breakfasts and cups of tea, the kitchen has an American diner feel with a breakfast bar, high stools and a small table by the window. If the evenings are warm and balmy, take a glass of something cold outside to the garden before heading to bed in one of four simple yet pleasant bedrooms. Find the double and the king-size bedroom on the same level as the living space, and the two remaining single rooms in the loft area (take care of sloping ceilings). There is off-road parking for one car.

Pack your bags and head to Bournemouth for the day, where certain parts of the beach welcome dogs all year round. Walk the bustling pier and let the brave ones among you book a ride on the zipline or visit one of the waterside restaurants. For a day steeped in fun and filled with woodland and clifftop walks, travel 5.5 miles to Highcliffe Castle.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Would thoroughly recommend Farley! Location fabulous for beaches and local towns, very spacious and comfortable and any issues dealt with immediately. Beach hut option a massive plus. Very well equipped. We had a wonderful holiday here - even with dodgy weather - so in summer would be even better! We hope to be back again. Thank you so much for youRead morer wonderful flat! Hide

Although it's just three hours from London and the South East, Dorset feels like a world away from the hubbub of the city. This gem of a county offers the very best of rural England: magnificent coastal scenery, vast sandy beaches, rolling hills, charming villages, country pubs, stately homes and medieval castles.

Take time to explore the dramatic and diverse coastline. Stretching 95 miles from East Devon to Poole, the Jurassic Coast has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is the only natural phenomenon in England to achieve this status. Here, visitors can uncover Earth's fascinating history whilst enjoying unspoilt views over superb beaches, many of which welcome canine companions too. From the iconic rural rock arch at Durdle Door to the endless sandy expanses of Studland, Dorset has it all.

Why not head to Lyme Regis, classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? Like much of West Dorset, it has an old-world ambience and offers excellent fossil hunting opportunities. Or head east to discover the beauty of Lulworth and the vibrant seaside resort of Swanage.

Steeped in history and with a certain quintessential charm, Dorset's glorious countryside is peppered with small towns and villages which are well worth a visit. Many are graced with fine buildings, immortalised in the books of Thomas Hardy, a Dorset-born novelist and poet. For more energetic visitors, footpaths and cycleways reveal the county's hidden secrets with the coast always close at hand for those who love the water.
