Treat yourself to a luxury Dorset holiday at this first-floor apartment, situated on the glorious Dorset coastline. Perfectly situated to offer exceptional views, this property is located in the very heart of the community with easy access to all amenities. The beach is just 100 yards from the front door, while shops and pubs are a similar distance. If you want to explore the nearby town, Bridport is 1.5 miles away while the A35 is 1 mile in the other direction, offering access to the Jurassic Coast and beyond.

The apartment is protected by a security entry phone and guests can choose between either taking the stairs or a lift for access. The front door enters to the rear of the property where two large bedrooms are situated, one with an en-suite bathroom. Leave your outdoor coats and shoes in the space in the hall and follow the hall round to the left and you’ll be struck speechless by what awaits. An open-plan lounge and kitchen/diner provides a large open space which is flooded with light from the floor to ceiling picture windows. With wooden floors and granite worktops, it’s an outstanding example of contemporary design. However, without question it’s the views which command the attention and will guarantee this room is one you’ll never forget. At the end of a busy day, sink into an armchair and watch the soft, glowing lights of the harbour as the boats gently bob on the tide.

There isn’t a garden with this apartment but with the beach and seafront so close, it’s hardly necessary. However, there are two generously sized balconies so you can bask in the warmth of the sun and breathe in the fresh sea air. The largest balcony, equipped with table and chairs, is at the front, overlooking the harbour. Arise early, take a coffee outside and watch the world slowly come to life for an idyllic start to your day. There is undercover parking available for one vehicle.

It was very well equipped, very clean. However we would have liked some instruction manuals for the machines , I.e dishwasher etc. Also it took us half an hour to figure out the key safe.

Dorset, a location of enduring popularity is a small rural gem of a county encompassing all of the best parts of rural England: rolling green hills, woodland and hedgerows abundant with flora and fauna running down to the sea yet situated just 3 hours from London and the South East.

The whole coastline from Exmouth to Poole has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Known as the Jurassic Coast, it is the only natural phenomenon in England to achieve this status and offers unspoilt views with dramatic cliff-top walks alongside beautiful, safe, sandy beaches which often welcome your four-legged friends too. From the dramatic natural rock arch at Durdle Door to the endless sandy expanses of Studland; Dorset has it all.

This South West county is also a treasure trove of secrets waiting to be discovered. Having grown out of the landscape out of the centuries, many of Dorset’s small rural towns expose history at every turn to inform and delight guests, whilst for the more energetic, footpaths and cycle-ways open up to reveal Dorset’s hidden secrets and the coast is always close at hand for those who love the water.

Why not head to Lyme Regis – classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, much like most of West Dorset to uncover an old-world ambience and excellent fossil hunting or discover the drama of Lulworth with the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.

Dorset’s towns and villages ooze quintessential charm and are graced by fine buildings which have often been immortalised in Thomas Hardy’s books, including Dorchester – his birthplace. Wherever you choose to stay, you are never far from the fascinating Jurassic Coast and World Heritage Coastal Path.
