This traditional built stone cottage with modern and spacious interior is set in the beautiful village of Osmington and benefits from stunning views of the local countryside.

Located in the beautiful village of Osmington, this home is an ideal base for exploring the local countryside and stunning sights the area has to offer. The coast is a short half a mile away, and the more popular resort of Weymouth is only 5 miles away. Weymouth has a wealth of things to see and do from Tudor House - an original 1600s house restored to show what family life in those times was like; to Nothe Fort – a Victorian-era fort built to defend Weymouth. If shopping is more your thing, head to St Alban Street and St Mary Street where a plethora of independent interesting shops can be found.

You’ll first be greeted by the hallway in this large and spacious property that leads you into the sitting room that is decorated with double aspect windows allowing natural light to enter and exposed beams add a cottage feel. You won’t be short of entertainment when staying here as there is a games room and many board games to choose from and enjoy. Moving on you’ll find the kitchen/dining room has an open plan layout and comes complete with a double oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, freezer, dishwasher and iPod dock – there is a second larder fridge/freezer located in utility room. There is a large arched window on the staircase which leads you to all four bedrooms of the property: two doubles and two being triples. With all of these bedrooms and the generous size of the property there is enough room to cater for any large family. Also upstairs is large family bathroom. The upstairs of the property has reduced ceiling height due to the location in the eaves, so please mind your head.

Outside of the property you will encounter the well-presented gardens. The front lawn is bordered by trees and shrubs and you’ll find a similar layout to the rear with mature planting and a sun terrace that is sheltered from the sun - perfect for a BBQ or for dining out. This area also enjoys its own heating so it’s perfect even if it is starting to get a bit chilly during the evenings.
