This secluded retreat has been expertly designed to make the most of every inch of space, while retaining a stylish and airy feel. At one end of the open-plan living space is a chic kitchen area for rustling up romantic meals for two. At the other, a lounge area with Smart TV and Sonos speaker benefits from both a wood burner for chilly evenings and bi-folding doors which bring the outside in on those balmy summer days. When it’s time for bed, retreat to the king-size in the cosy nook, which opens onto an en-suite shower room. Heading outside, enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the decked terrace or step down into the gravelled courtyard to fire up the BBQ. Just 2 miles from the coastal town of Lyme Regis with its fossil-rich beach, bustling harbour and range of amenities, this hideaway is a fantastic base from which to explore the coast. Take a cliff-top stroll to discover the natural beauty of this dramatic coastline, venturing east towards the village of Charmouth (4 miles) or west towards the fishing town of Seaton (8 miles). Head inland to grab a bite to eat at the River Cottage HQ and Canteen (3.5 miles), or discover local history at one of the local National Trust properties, including Loughwood Meeting House (6 miles) and Barrington Court (20 miles).

Lovely studio, well presented and very clean and comfortable and situated in a lovely quiet place. Lovely walk from door into lyme Regis and handy for lots of other places to visit, Sidmouth, Beer ,Subtropical Garden and Branscombe. Definitely love to return at some point. Owner Kevin very approachable and nothing too much trouble.

We had a lovely relaxing week at Little Spinney. The weather was very kind and we really enjoyed sitting outside on the decking enjoying the spectacular view. Kevin was very friendly and helpful and we would certainly recommend staying at this lovely cottage.

Our two weeks at The Little Spinney in August, was absolutely perfect, Kevin had thought of everything, even asking us our preference in what wine we would like in our welcome pack.. The Little Spinney is a 5 star property, with touches of luxury throughout. The outlook is stunning, we loved watching the coming and going of the cows in the nearby fRead moreields - our dog was safe to potter around in the enclosed garden. Wow, what can I say. Little Spinney is an amazing modern property , set in a stunning location. Beautifully tucked away down a country lane, yet a short drive into Lyme Regis, or a lovely walk along the River Lim. If you enjoy walking, the coast paths are a must. Little Spinney is a haven from the outside world. We loved the location so much - the peace and quiet, the amazing views from the house and outside space. The house itself is so cool and very well equipped, an ideal couples retreat. We didnt want to leave. Will definitely recommend it to everyone we know!

This is a fabulous property for a relaxing rural break. Little Spinney is extremely well equipped, very comfortable and has superb views across the valley. Wow what a great peaceful location tucked away down a country lane away from the hustle and bustle of Lyme Regis. Great views over a lovely valley full of wildlife and birdsong. Lyme Regis is a short drive or better still a lovely riverside walk away. In short great cottage to unwind chill out and recharge.

Fantastic property in a glorious location. Everything was there that you could possibly need. Excellently furnished with a really comfy bed. Great shower. The outside space was a bonus, but we actually didn't get to use as the weather wasn't too good, but we used the log burner, kindling etc supplied by the owner. We took our dog Cooper with us, anRead mored it was great to see an outside shower hose to clean sand/ mud from him. Nice walks from Little Spinney, and of course really close to beaches. Hide

I have stayed in many different holiday cottages in Dorset and this was the absolute best! The location is lovely, the view from the cottage is beautiful. We had the most perfect stay at the Little Spinney. We were so impressed with how clean the property was - as well as extra cleaning products left for us to use, it felt very Covid safe. The location was absolutely ideal for what we wanted - remote, quiet and peaceful. The view from the patio out to neighbouring fields is incredibly tranquil. Fabulous accommodation, log burner had been lit prior to our arrival so was lovely and warm, also there was a pretty Christmas tree and fairy lights which were welcome added touches. The studio is well located with pubs in Uplyme and Lyme Regis within walking distance. The property was well equipped and had everything we needed. The Welcome bottle of wine from the owner was a lovely surprise and whilst we had no need to contact him during our stay we felt able to contact him if we needed. The cottage is very comfortable for 2 people and more or less everything you need is provided As there are no street lights the night sky is amazing and we were lucky enough to see a shooting star. The parking is big enough but if you have a 4 x 4 car the turning if very tight.

A charming, 'out of the way' property with stunning views. Was very peaceful and a wonderful place to just switch off from it all. Plenty of lovely touches within the property itself and it was very clean. Had a great week here - we found it a particularly good base for local coastal walks.

Lovely place to stay, brilliant location, plenty of walks from your doorstep. The walk into Lyme Regis is particularly enjoyable along the river and there are maps and guides in the property to help. Big enough for two people and our dog. The outside seating area and views are great and the owner is very accommodating and helpful if needed.
