A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. Somehow you're in the middle of nowhere whilst also being 10 minutes from civilisation. Shame the pub was shut for half-term, but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. Thank you Jo for allowing us to share your idyllic surroundings; we will very likely be back!

We spent 2 weeks in Old Sawyers and had a wonderful time. We found it to be exceptionally well stocked with equipment and very comfortable. The cottage is in a picturesque village, in a quiet location which is well positioned for exploring local sites, historical houses, walking, eating out in Dorset as well as other counties not far away e.g. SomeRead morerset, Devon. Lovely, quiet cottage. The very narrow roads around Dorset are sometimes a bit tricky but this is not the responsibility of the cottage, the cottage is lovely. We loved the welcome pack and the cottage itself. The cottage is full of high quality items which enhanced our stay.
