Just home from a comfortable, cosy, relaxed and happy week at Old Sawyers. The village is exceptionally pretty, unspoilt and friendly, with walks from the door through rolling countryside. We had a fabulous week at the cottage exploring the local area. The welcome pack of biscuits, milk, butter, cider and tea was much appreciated after a long journey. Stoke Abbot itself is a beautiful chocolate box location and near so many places for days out. We recommend a walk up Golden Cap for spectacular views, a visit to West Bay and Lyme RegiRead mores, a meal in The New Inn and a Donkey Walking Experience for children (the last two are within walking distance of the cottage).
