As night falls, follow the stairs up to the first floor where a double bedroom enjoys magnificent coastal views. Find a bunk bedroom and a shower room, with WC and hand basin, at this level too. Make your way up to the second floor, where there is a super king-sized bedroom also takes in fabulous sea views. An additional shower room, with WC and also the washing machine, is located in an outbuilding, found through the kitchen and up a set of steep steps. Take breakfast, lunch and dinner outside as often as possible. Guests have use of a permit for parking one car behind the cottage, spaces are unallocated.

Pick up the South West Coast Path from Swanage for clifftop walks with panoramic views along the Jurassic coastline. Embark upon a challenging 12.5-mile walk to see the ruins of Corfe Castle and then catch a steam train home.
