Close to Chesil Beach and just a few miles from the bustling seaside resort of Weymouth, this delightful partially thatched cottage offers cosy holiday accommodation for up to six guests. This spacious and inviting cottage features a cheerful wood burner and a charming garden and is ideal for exploring the Jurassic Coast and the pretty countryside of Dorset.

Entering this pretty terraced cottage, you’ll find that the inviting lounge has a Smart TV and a wood burner set in an inglenook fireplace and is an ideal space for everyone to get together, watch a movie or chat about the day. Exploring further, the split-level kitchen/diner provides an ideal space for cooking and sharing a fantastic family meal together. The ground floor also has a handy shower room and a comfortable king-size bedroom (which can be made as a twin on request at time of booking). Steep cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor and two refreshing bedrooms: one double and a super-king-size room. Further stairs lead up into the eaves of the house and to a stylish, invigorating bathroom. Heading outside, a patio area has a fire pit and plenty of seating. A path leads along to a charming cottage garden with outdoor furniture which makes a lovely spot for dining alfresco.

Langton Herring is just over a mile from Chesil Beach, and is situated close to the South West Coast Path. Offering a fantastic choice of shops, cafes and restaurants, Weymouth (5.5 miles) is home to a beautiful harbour, Bennetts Water Gardens, the ruins of Sandsfoot Castle and the Victorian-era Nothe Fort. Other local landmarks and attractions include the Isle of Portland, Abbotsbury Swannery and Maiden Castle (all within 12.5 miles).

Really cosy, well furnished cottage in an idyllic village with great local walks and within near reach of all the beautiful places Dorset has to offer. We were a little disappointed to find that the local pub, described in the listing and reviews, had in fact gone out of business. There are lots of other lovely pubs around but none within walking dRead moreistance. This spoilt our holiday slightly as we had two teens with us and we had promised evenings in the pub. Charming, quirky cottage. Stairs are a bit steep so ground floor bedroom useful and kitchen is means of access to garden and shower room so can be a squeeze.

Quiet, secluded and full of character as well as being close to Weymouth, Chesil, Portland and Dorchester. A really lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful when we had a minor issue with the heating. Fantastic pub just opposite that does lovely food. Great base to explore Dorset.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful village with so many excellent walks from the door. The cottage is beautifully decorated and really well equipped with the most comfy beds! The little garden was perfect for giving our dog the ability to potter in and out of the house too. A delightful cottage in a peaceful picture-box location. With nature walks to the Fleet overlooking Chesil beach on the doorstep, together with an excellent free house pub to relax after long days exploring nearby Jurassic gems was a perfect introduction to Dorset!

Really enjoyed our stay - lovely property in great location. Felt very comfortable there and pretty garden to sit in too. Excellent pub food available across the road. No hairdryer so bring your own if you need one.

We had a lovely weeks stay at St Anthonys cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotless on arrival and had everything we needed. Just a heads up, the stairs are a bit steep, but the cottage works perfectly for those less able, as the downsairs bedroom solved that issues (downstairs bathroom) Beautiful village and 15 minute walk to the coaRead morest path and many lovely. We had a perfect holiday in St Anhtony's Cottage. The cottage is spacious and autenhtic, well-decorated and well-equiped, we had everything we needed. Perfect for a family holiday. The owners are really avalaible and helpful, they made everything to make us enjoy our stay. The village is lovely and peacefull, beautiful walks nearby. Lovely cottage - tastefully decorated throughout. Lots of space for a big family. The furniture in the upper garden could be improved. Stunning location and walks down to Chesil. Friendly neighbours and a great gastropub for a treat (although too fancy for more than one meal!)

Wonderful location for exploring Dorset. The village is pretty and quiet with some lovely walks, near the coast. Close to a gorgeous pub. The cottage is decorated beautifully, very comfortable, well equipped and lovely & cosy. We highly recommend it.

Lovely house in a fabulous area with walks from the door. The south west coastal parks were a joy and we we lucky with good weather all week. Pub across the road is great for food. Key safe slightly fiddly to open but we managed. Information from owner really helpful.

St Anthonys Cottage is in a lovely location, within easy reach of Lyme Regis in one direction and Studland Bay in the other. A short walk and youre in beautiful fields with a stunning view of the sea. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable with the exception of the kitchen and garden seating which could really be improved. We really did have a fantastic stay at St Anthonys Cottage. It is in a beautiful hamlet that is very tranquil and quiet , yet still has a great pub just down from the cottage , ( but you can never hear any noise from the pub ). Ive spent 25 years staying in cottages like this for work and I do have to comment about how well arranged and stocked eveRead morerything here is . Lovely cottage in a great little village.A nice pub over the road serving good food and drinks-very friendly. This cottage has all the facilities you need -this doesn't always happen!
