  • Enclosed courtyard garden with views over fields, perfect for al fresco dining or sunbathing
  • Perfect location to visit the popular counties of Somerset and Dorset, and the Jurassic Coast

This lovingly converted barn is situated in the heart of the owner's working farm and enjoys far-reaching views. It is a perfect location for those wanting to experience the countryside at its finest, yet with lots to discover on the doorstep.

Discover two counties-worth of countryside and stay in this charming property on the cusp of the Dorset/Somerset border. Boasting an array of scenic walks and handily located within 4 miles of Yeovil, your accommodation sleeps four and is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Fishing, kayaking and yachting are all possible at the nearby reservoir where there is also a picnic area.

Bright and spacious with wooden frames and beams throughout, your welcoming abode is a treat for spending quality time together. Cast your muddy boots to one side in the kitchen and whip up a hearty feast, settling down in the lounge/diner to dine in style. The sofas are comfortable and inviting for watching a film on the Smart TV, or why not step outside for a glass of wine under the stars. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are crisply dressed and ready for slumber, both set within the eaves of the house (beware of reduced head height). Completing the property is a generous bathroom, and there is ample off-road parking. Weary from the exciting on-site activities, there are also holistic therapies to try by prior arrangement, or just relax in the enclosed courtyard garden.

The surrounding landscape is a haven for wildlife, so there is plenty to see whilst you explore on foot. Cyclists will appreciate the easy access to National Route 26, part of the National Cycle Network and any excursion can be rewarded with a hearty pub lunch. Unable to resist the thrill of the sea? The Jurassic Coast is within a 17-mile drive and West Bay is the nearest beach 16.5 miles away. Further afield, Lyme Regis is well worth the 24-mile drive with its pebble-strewn beach, museums and a huge selection of restaurants.

A very good farm shop within walking distance and The Helyar Arms in East Coker serving excellent food is a 5 minute drive away.
