With breath-taking sea views of Swanage Bay from almost every room, this small but perfectly formed waterside apartment is perfect for short family breaks by the sea.
This stunning apartment on the water’s edge overlooking Swanage Bay is a truly unique property for families looking to enjoy Dorset’s delightful coast and countryside. Set within an exclusive development, it’s position allows unspoilt, panoramic views of Swanage’s Victorian pier, sandy beach and eye-catching beach huts. Swanage is a popular seaside town which offers a range of shops/eateries, easy access to the South West Coast Path and close proximity to the Studland Nature Reserve.
This apartment is exquisitely decorated, creating a stylish and contemporary feel. White, grey and blue décor echoes the tones of the sea, which can be seen from almost all of the windows in the property. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is on the first floor, to allow you to make the most of the breathtaking views and from here, you can access the small balcony through the patio doors. The balcony is the perfect place for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Downstairs, the two bedrooms are light, spacious and beautifully decorated and have quirky porthole-style windows which create the sense of being on a boat.
Situated within the town of Swanage, all of its amenities are within walking distance of the property. If you head to the Swanage Railway station, you can step back in time and catch a steam train to the National Trust’s historic, picturesque village and castle, Corfe Castle (5.5 miles). The Studland and Godlingston Heath and Nature Reserve is 3.5 miles away and has beautiful beaches and unusually shallow water for bathing in. Or why not head north to the port of Poole (20 miles), which has a range of shops and eateries as well as plenty of boat trips on offer. The trip to Brownsea Island, famous for its red squirrels, is a particular favourite.
