Explore the charm of the Jurassic Coast with its Victorian seaside towns, beaches where fossils can be found and an array of fun family activities when staying in this family holiday home. With quirky interiors and a fantastic outdoor space, this is a great option for those looking to get away.

The heart of this home is the living room featuring comfortable sofas, a Smart TV for film nights and vibrant pops of colour tying the decor together. Across the hall is the kitchen with ample space on the counters for food preparation, as well as in the cupboards for snacks. There is a small breakfast bar in the kitchen, but the main dining space is light and bright with a dining table seating eight running through the centre of the room. A downstairs WC completes the ground floor. Moving up to the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one a king-size benefitting from an en-suite shower room with special features such as body jets for a splash of luxury. The second bedroom is a twin which has the use of the family bathroom on this floor. Finally, on the top floor, there are two double bedrooms, tastefully decorated with ample storage, one of which enjoys the use of an en-suite shower room. Outside, there is a lovely enclosed rear garden with plenty of seating for al fresco dining in the evenings. A charcoal BBQ and chiminea add to the ambience and mean you can really make the most of long summer days.

Swanage is a great base for a family holiday, offering so much to see and do right on your doorstep. This traditional seaside town boasts a stunning stretch of sandy beach, a promenade and a pier making a great day out for all the family. In addition, there is a great range of shops and restaurants for the foodies amongst you, as well as charming activities such as pedalos and crazy golf. A little further afield, Lulworth Cove (18 miles) and Durdle Door (18.5 miles) are iconic destinations along the Jurassic Coast with turquoise waters and picture-perfect viewpoints to capture that perfect holiday photo.

My family and I really enjoyed our two weeks in this lovely comfortable, clean and homely property. The owners were very helpful if we had any problems.
