A lovely cottage conversion, great to come home to. The sunny bright interior with the big windows gave wonderful views across the countryside. There is plenty to do in the area with lots of lovely villages and walks to enjoy.

A peaceful spot, away from it all but with one or two villages nearby including Chetnole where there was an excellent pub with scrubbed tables and flagstone floors. The cottage itself was furnished to a very high standard with both beds being super king size. We all slept very well. This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! Having stayed end of Dec/early Jan, we didn't make full use of the outside space, but it will be gorgeous in the summer months getting sun all day. It's a quiet location with lovely views. Very dog friendly. There is some grass just outside enclosed garden area for dogs, but this is not fully fenced in. This cottage is very well equipped with good WiFi and other equipment. It is clean and comfortable. It is in a lovely rural spot but quite a way from the sea (about 45mins by car). There are good eating places nearby. The Chetnole Inn in Chetnole and there is a lovely cafe in Yetminster, the Old School cafe.

gorgeous place, very nicely done out in calm, relaxing decor. well laid out too with bedrooms at opposite ends of a shared living space. lovely views and really sunny terrace to sit out at. underfloor heating was great and both showers were wonderful, easy to control and good water pressure. strong wifi too. would love to come back.

This is 5* accommodation in an excellent rural setting. It is ideally placed for quiet country walks and visits to the more well known tourist sites such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Everything that you might need for a relaxing or active holiday.

Beautifully converted farm building built to a high standard. The views from the cottage are beautiful, with lots of walks straight from the doorstep. As stated above the IT issues really spoilt the holiday, the owner was away for the first 3 days when we got there so had to deal with the cleaning lady, who tried her best but didnt succeed. I was going to complain to the owner and ask for a refund of part of the money paid for this so called 5 star property, which it definitely is not. A great week at The Cowshed, which is in a lovely bit of Dorset, with wonderful views over the surrounding farmland. We used it as a base for some fantastic and hilly cycling to the east, south and west, from Lyme Regis to Lulworth Cove. Very comfortable beds and strong showers.
