We have visited this apartment many times over the years. We understand there are new owners now and think that the place has a very homely feeling which wasn't there before. Little touches but non the less important. The maintenance of the shower seems much better now, the drains were always constantly blocked which caused problems. Absolutely 5*. Beautiful, comfortable, could not fault it at all. The weather for the week was pretty bad, misty and wet, but as we were is such a stunning place, there was no need to go out. You could just watch the world go by. Fantastic.

Beautiful, luxurious apartment. Spotless and well furnished with fantastic views from the balcony, and a brilliant location. I hope to return to the same apartment in 2020 but just one issue - the second bathroom should have a wall shower rather than hand held. It was frustrating for my sister to need to use my en suite when she needed a shower.

Difficult to rate using the above criteria, what is average? Generally o.k. but not as good as many other luxury appartment/cottages we have previously stayed in.

Wonderful views and the apartment was very well fitted out. It exceeded our expectations. Everything worked, kitchen, heating, bathrooms and it was very comfortable. We didn't mind the rain as we could sit and watch the fishing boats come and go, and things going on around the harbor all day. .

A clean and light well equipped flat with a allocated underground parking space. The parking space was a little difficult to manoeuvre into because it was right by the entrance and we have a big estate car but we managed. The bedding and towels were very clean and changed each week. Plenty of crockery and pans, etc. The dcor was modern and tastefulRead more. As the weather was good we enjoyed having the bi-fold doors open whenever we could and sitting on the narrow balcony. An extra balcony table and 2 more chairs would be lovely. Hide

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

Dorset, a location of enduring popularity is a small rural gem of a county encompassing all of the best parts of rural England: rolling green hills, woodland and hedgerows abundant with flora and fauna running down to the sea yet situated just 3 hours from London and the South East.

The whole coastline from Exmouth to Poole has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Known as the Jurassic Coast, it is the only natural phenomenon in England to achieve this status and offers unspoilt views with dramatic cliff-top walks alongside beautiful, safe, sandy beaches which often welcome your four-legged friends too. From the dramatic natural rock arch at Durdle Door to the endless sandy expanses of Studland; Dorset has it all.

This South West county is also a treasure trove of secrets waiting to be discovered. Having grown out of the landscape out of the centuries, many of Dorset’s small rural towns expose history at every turn to inform and delight guests, whilst for the more energetic, footpaths and cycle-ways open up to reveal Dorset’s hidden secrets and the coast is always close at hand for those who love the water.

Why not head to Lyme Regis – classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, much like most of West Dorset to uncover an old-world ambience and excellent fossil hunting or discover the drama of Lulworth with the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.

Dorset’s towns and villages ooze quintessential charm and are graced by fine buildings which have often been immortalised in Thomas Hardy’s books, including Dorchester – his birthplace. Wherever you choose to stay, you are never far from the fascinating Jurassic Coast and World Heritage Coastal Path.
