Sleeping four guests across two bedrooms, your holiday accommodation is single-level and homely with a vast garden that’s ideal for those balmy summer evenings sipping wine and delving into al fresco suppers. Handily located beside the A31, you’ll soon be setting off to explore the Jurassic Coast and nearby market towns.

Quirky and comfortable with wooden flooring underfoot and sloping ceilings, this former coach house is brimming with character. The open-plan living space features a wooden panel that was actually part of the original stalls. This now separates the chic kitchen area from the lounge/diner, so you’ll be able to relax, cook and dine at leisure. Throw open the doors and let the outside in, stepping into the garden to sip your first coffee of the day on the lawn. There are two cosy bedrooms, and the bathroom completes the property. Off-road parking is available for two cars.

A 17.5-mile drive will bring you to historic Sturminster Newton, a town renowned for its friendly charm, interesting museum and beautiful views of the Blackmore Vale. Walkers and cyclists are well catered for with pretty riverside walks along the River Stour and access to the 14-mile North Dorset Trailway. Further afield, the cosmopolitan allure of Bournemouth, 16 miles away, will prove tempting to those who adore entertainment, traditional beachside amusements and retail therapy. Corfe Castle is a majestic sight for history-seekers, 12.5 miles away, and Lulworth Cove is simply stunning with its sandy beach, azure sea and impressive views of Durdle Door, 14 miles away.

Fantastic holiday home, with everything you could possibly need. We had a fantastic week and everywhere we wanted to visit was within a 30 minute drive, perfect location. The hosts were wonderful and I would highly recommend this place. Thanks again

We enjoyed our stay at The Hayloft as it was easy access to surrounding attractions and villages. The roads are busy but easy to navigate. The accommodation was top class in cleanliness and decor. The kitchen, dining area and sitting room were open plan which we appreciated. The sitting room looked out onto the large, level garden which was quite rRead moreelaxing. The hayloft was a wonderful, comfortable and well equipped cottage with loads of space and a large fenced garden safe for dogs. There were lots of interesting places to visit nearby and excellent local pubs for eating. A perfect base for anyone wanting to explore the area.

We had a fabulous stay at the Hayloft, it was a beautiful and comfortable property with a lovely secure garden for our dog and despite being right off the main road it was peaceful, in gorgeous countryside. Lovely cottage, lovely owners who were incredibly responsive to any of our needs if required whilst also respecting our privacy. They also they shared useful information on local attractions which really made our stay really enjoyable. This a delightful cottage, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a lovely for a break in Dorset and we would certainly go back. The hosts were very welcoming and tremendously helpful when bad weather arrived. We would highly recommend the Hayloft for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The Heyloft is in a great central location. Simon and Deanne were very friendly and accommodating. The facilitys were great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already again for next year.
