Sitting on the first floor within a wing of Minterne House, the apartment is accessed via a shared hall leading to the private doorway. Inside, the living room is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, a record player and an Alexa ensuring long evenings of entertainment, be it watching your favourite film or getting competitive for a family games night. The kitchen has ample space to prepare feasts for large numbers, all of which can be served up on the dining table, which is located in the same room. There are four stylish bedrooms in total, three of which are king-size zip-and-link beds (which can be made up as twins on request), with the fourth being a twin. Within the apartment, there is a bathroom and a shower room offering choices, plus, the shower room has a handy utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, there is a shared lawn tennis court and outdoor heated pool which is available to be used between April and October with prior bookings.
Minterne Gardens sit just outside the property and are a must-visit whilst staying. Watch the seasons change and explore the notable collection of rhododendrons, with daily entry to the gardens included within the accommodation. Just 2.5 miles away in the village of Cerne Abbas, you’ll find a small selection of eateries and the iconic giant carved into the hillside, which can be seen from a picturesque walking trail. Dorchester (10 miles) is another great option for slower days when you fancy perusing the shops at your leisure, visiting the cinema and exploring the local history in a museum.
