Flooded with light and boasting brightly coloured walls throughout, this property is a cheerful space to wake up to each morning. Start the day in the king-size bedroom and head through to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. From here you can head into the open-plan living space to sit at the dining table and catch up on the morning’s news or follow French doors out to the shared garden and enjoy your eggs alfresco. And, after another long day is complete, the lounge with its open fire and smart TV offers the perfect space for a romantic night in.

Boasting a completely rural location, step out and explore village pubs in the local Sandleheath (less than 0.5 miles) or take a trip to the neighbouring town of Fordingbridge (2 miles) for amenities. Located on the brink of the New Forest National Park (3 miles), this town is a great starting point for many fantastic walks or bike rides. Similarly, discover the Moors House Country Park 7 miles away with walks and family-friendly activities or visit the coastal town of Bournemouth (19 miles) for beach trips and traditional seaside attractions.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage was very cosy and well decorated and furnished, the village of Sandleheath is a lovely village and ideally situated to explore all of the New Forest and surrounding arears of interest. Wonderful cottage. Debbie the owner couldn't have been more hospitable. The fridge was full if unexpected goodies. Perfect for our dog who was also well caterered for. Bed was extremely comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it or returning myself. Perfect get away after a busy day visiting places of interest

Nice small cottage on the outskirts of New Forest that acts as a good base for exploring. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items when we arrived which was lovely.

Loved all the little extras at the cottage. The cottage and garden were outstanding. Bit remote for us as we are used to amenities nearby, but thats my fault for not researching properly. Debbie the owner really had thought of everything and was very generous in terms of a well stocked fridge with food and wine, as well as this biscuits, tea, coffee, chocolate, dog biscuits and poo bags etc it was lovely and clean and the fire was great with all the wood you could need provided. We had the most wonderful welcome and stay at the cottage. The service was excellent in contact with the contact person. It is a short distance from the New Forrest although very quiet and a great place for rest and relaxation.

The extras when arriving at the property were amazing, near the home of Alice Hargreaves the Alice in Wonderland touches with the eat me, drink me tags were just that little be special. Good location for exploring the new forest. A nice cosy cottage with a really comfortable bed. Liked the mix of modern equipment with all the period furniture. Fans of Alice in Wonderland would love it. The shop is next door and we'll stocked, run by the owner who couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Superb one bedroom cottage. Ideal for couples. Fully equiped kitchen, lounge/ diner and large bedroom. Debbie the owner was very friendly and helpful. Cottage was spotlessly clean. Cottage within half hour drive of most New Forest attractions and the coast.

Although it's just three hours from London and the South East, Dorset feels like a world away from the hubbub of the city.
