Elegant and impressive, this bijou-style property sleeps two in the heart of Worth Matravers, a pretty village on the Isle of Purbeck. Access a plethora of walks along the rugged Jurassic coastline and the countryside beyond, returning to dine with a view from the comfort of your fabulous open-plan living space. Based just 3.5 miles from Swanage, you’ll never be far from a sandy beach or a tempting array of bistros and bars.

Attached to a traditional cottage, the property has been extended with a sleek and contemporary finish and allows natural light to stream in through the vaulted skylight and large south-facing windows. Accessorised with stylish furniture and lavish accessories, all you’ll need to worry about is opening the wine and unwinding by the crackling wood burner. Dine with an al fresco vibe in the dining area, or step outside with your morning coffee and sizzle up some bacon butties on the BBQ. The large lawned garden is popular amongst the local wildlife, so look out for owls, pheasants and badgers. Completing the property is a generous bathroom and a superb king-size bedroom.

This stunning peninsula is best known for its beaches and iconic landmarks such as Lulworth Cove 16 miles away, a beautiful destination with a seemingly endless stretch of sand and azure waters. Corfe Castle is also a must-see 4 miles away, where you can tread in the footsteps of ancient noblemen as you explore the majestic ruins. Closer to home, the village of Worth Matravers boasts a series of historic walks including the Priests Way which leads to Swanage, and of course The Smugglers Way, an eerie track down to the coast path which smugglers used to bring their goods ashore.

The Studio accommodation is finished to a very high standard. Light floods in to the property which is fantastic especially as my wife is partially sighted. Our dog loved the large garden. The location is fantastic, right on the Priests Way for walks with Worth Matravers a few minutes walk away. Lovely scenery all around!

We had a one week stay and enjoyed every second. Fantastic location, we visited Swanage, old Harrys rocks, durdle door, Weymouth and did some walks straight from the cottage plus more. The cottage itself was super comfortable and cosy, we had everything we needed. We had a Tesco and hello fresh delivery with no problem.
