Swanage and Purbeck Arts and Entertainment scene has a mix of modern artists and up-cyclers and the traditional theatre and cinema.
The Mowlem Theatre was opened in 1967 and replaced the smaller original Victorian building which had stood for over 100 years. It is based on the seafront in Swanage and puts on a varied programme of film and theatre throughout the year.
