Possibly the greatest Steam Show on earth this action packed show in heart of the Dorset Countryside is one of the largest outdoor events in Europe and is a sure thing to put on the to do list.
This great show offers the traditional competitions (classes) for farm animals, food and drink, horses and ponies, home-craft and horticulture as well as spectacular displays of daredevil motorbike riding, vintage cars and tractors. A marvelous day out for all the family.

One of the most exciting events of Autumn on Weymouth Beach, where you can see motorcross riders racing along the sand at mind boggling speeds and negotiating a specially created course.
This is an exciting cultural event in a town rich with literary associations. The programme of events will show off the latest books by some of the most original authors of today.
The Nothe Fort plays host to some ghoulish ghosts. You can join in the creepy crafts and see a Mad Magician do some amazing tricks and illusions.
Thousands turn out to watch this spectacular firework display, with a Guy Fawkes Competition, Funfair, Beach Bonfire and Firework Display
December brings a whole host of events and activities around the town with a real ice skating rink, a super Santa’s Grotto – with Santa arriving on his sled pulled by real reindeer. There is a Pop-up Panto, a BIG Christmas Show and much much more.
This annual mad cap event sees hundred of “Santas” chase a “Christmas Pudding” on a 5k run along Weymouth Beach.
Now you have to be mad to take part in this and of course hundreds are and its all for local charities. Swimmers take the plunge on Christmas Day for a refreshing swim across Weymouth Harbour.
