We make sure that we speak to every guest during the booking process and before taking payment. This is to double check that their chosen property is suitable for the party makeup. This both safeguards your property and ensures your guests will enjoy their stay. Our three offices in the county and our geographically narrow focus combine to create the necessary support network for owners, housekeepers and guests. Over the years we have also invested heavily in our IT, booking and phone systems and we continue to do so. This ensures we remain at the forefront of technology in our industry.
Dorset Coastal Cottages is proud to be a member of the Holiday Home Association (HHA) as well as Cottageline, Jurassic Coast Business Partners, the FSB and the CLA. It might seem like a long list but it shows our commitment to providing our owners and guests with the best possible service. As part of our commitment to the local area, we also support local services, businesses and trades-people wherever possible. Additionally, we are proud to support the South West Coast Path Association as our official charity.
Home sweet home
We love traditional cottages with open fires and big gardens, but we also love high specification modern apartments with jaw-dropping sea views. What matters most is quality; our guests expect a minimum 3 star quality standard, so that’s our minimum requirement. Another stipulation is that we only accept homes that are within 10 miles of the coast and are either in rural villages or the seaside towns of Swanage, Weymouth, West Bay and Lyme Regis. Otherwise, our requirements are fairly broad in scope and we will be honest with you from the outset.

Our aim is to surprise and delight our guests with a ‘home from home’ feel with all mod cons. However, this is enhanced with personal touches that make your property compete and even excels over their own home. Added extras that improve a holiday, particularly when it rains, are always encouraged. Consider large screens, games consoles and film streaming services as well as the more traditional books and board games.
