Relax and unwind at this gorgeous barn conversion, part of a lovely complex, it’s ideal for a couple or small family with a king-size bedroom and a single room, and a shared outside space with fabulous views where you can sit watch the sun go down. Ideally located for exploring the Jurassic coast, there are local amenities nearby, and you can even book a treatment with the on-site beautician/masseuse.

The barn is filled with light, it has bright interiors, quirky furniture, and heaps of character. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is on the first floor to take advantage of the amazing views, where there’s a contemporary kitchen area for rustling up delicious meals to enjoy at the breakfast bar or the dining table. Spend evenings chilling on the comfy sofas, enjoying the views and watching a great movie. Go downstairs to bed in the two pretty bedrooms, a king and a single, where you can watch TV in bed. There’s a family bathroom with a bath for long soaks after a good walk and a shower over the bath. The shared garden has panoramic views of the neighbouring countryside, the perfect spot to sit with a drink and watch the sunset. There’s space to store your boat too if you’re keen sailors.

You can explore all three stunning counties, Dorset, Devon, and Somerset, from this base. Pop to Axminster (1 mile away) to do a spot of shopping and eat out, spend the day on the beach at Lyme Regis or Charmouth (both 6 miles away) and wander among the wildflowers and wildlife in Trinity Hill Nature Reserve (1 mile), where there are stunning views. Have an exciting day out at Crealy Theme Park (24 miles) and explore the pretty villages of Abbotsbury (21 miles) and Beer (8 miles).

Beautiful location, the cottage had everything we needed, plus some extra treats that were a lovely touch! Convenient location to get to lots of coastal places - Lyme Regis is a lovely place to spend time and just down the road.

Very clean, comfortable cottage, everything you need is there. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Louise on arrival, and we can highly recommend this cottage. The location has a beautiful view with a herd of cows in front of us. We also did not want to leave. Thank you Louise & Brian for a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, enjoyed the wine, bread and biscuits that were provided. Lovely quiet farm with view of field of cows, but very close to town with all the amenities needed.
