For children, the Axe Valley Wildlife Park is a treat 2.5 miles away, promising a fun day out for all the family.

Nice location - ideal for visiting Somerset, Dorset and Devon. Spacious, comfortable and homely, with lovely views. Our host was available to offer any needed help or advice, but wasn't intrusive. Lovely to find wine, biscuits, milk and other 'essentials' in the cottage when we arrived - thank you for a very pleasant stay!

A lovely stay at Christmas in the "Sundowner". We had a small artificial Christmas tree, for such a lovely property it seemed a little sad but there were some nice touches. Unfortunately the water heating system was not heating up the water enough but we managed with putting the immersion heater on a couple of hours each day. It was lovely to have Read morethe woodburner to keep cozy. The view from the property over the hills was magnificent. Close to the A35. Hide

A very comfortable cottage, well-furnished, very clean. Well-placed for the Jurassic coast. A very good large farm shop (Millers) less than 3 miles away, in addition to a supermarket and other shops in Axminster. Recommended.

As a family of 4 with two children, aged 8 and 5, we had a brilliant week away in this fantastic cottage. I cooked most nights and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare and cook meals. We loved the views across the hills and its location made it easy to get to local amenities. We loved visiting Lyme Regis and West Bay for some exciting fosRead moresil hunting and the kids loved Crealy Theme Park, and Wookey Holes (if you don't mind a drive). Thank you for a lovely week!
