Fabulous stay here, despite the dreadful weather! The cottage is immaculate and every detail thought of. Beautifully clean, lots of towels, comfortable beds and quiet location. Perfect to walk to the Castle inn but also went to the Weld and The Lulworth Cove, all of which do excellent meals. Would recommend highly.

Beach Cottage is a wonderful 3 bed house in West Lulworth, it is very comfortable and as we were there over new year nice and warm. On three levels with the master bedroom on the 2nd floor tv and on suite shower. The TV in the living area has all the streaming platforms, you need your own account. Although there is seating for 6, it is a bit crampeRead mored, we took a camping chair to make it more comfortable watching the tv. Access to 2 car park spaces no more 50m away, 1 under a car port, access from the back of the house via a path. Parking in front of the property can be problematic as it is a narrow road. The property has all the equipment needed for a stay with access to fantastic walks and a very good pub at the end of the road. Located in a nice quite side road it is only 15 minute stroll down to Lulworth Cove and access to the SW Coastal path. We stayed over new year and the local Londis was closed for our stay. There are supermarkets and shops in Wareham which is a 15/20 minute drive away. Beach Cottage makes a great base to explore this part of Dorset and we would definitely stay here again. Hide

The house is situated in a lovely quiet street which is a dead end, so no through traffic. The views to the rear are over a field, sometimes occupied by sheep. The pub is at the other end of the road, a shop a further 5 minutes walk away and Lulworth Cove around a 10-15 minute walk. Walking part of the coastal path to Durdle Door is worth the efforRead moret and a visit to Lulworth Castle and Monkey World, both nearby, and Durleston Country Park are recommended. Hide

This cottage is maintained to a high standard. It was clean, the kitchen equiped well and was in a good location to walk into the bay and to travel elsewhere by car. Although it slept 6 adults and a toddler quite easily, we found the living area a bit cramped. Suggest 4 adults max.

Great location including access from the house to the coast path/footpaths and local hostelries, but relied on it being March - West Lulworth is going to struggle for access/space for cars in high season. Overall, we were comfortable and the house was well presented.
