We spent a lovely few days at No 1 Curwens. The views were spectacular from all the windows. We loved the wood fired hot tub. The weather was so good we didnt need to heat it much. Shaftsbury is a ten minute drive away. We drove to Bournemouth and that took just under an hour. Would recommend.

The orchard is perfect for letting a dog run, as its fenced in. Couldnt fault it in any way - The best place we have stayed for many years.

We had a really relaxing time and loved Shaftesbury, walking the Mills walk (extended a bit), reading and eating outside in the sun, relaxing in the hot tub. Bought some great food at the Farm Shop and a good chat with the lady in the shop who makes the bags. Good tip for knitting socks!

Fantastic last minute trip for me and my partner, the house and surrounding country side are beautiful! Hosts were lovely very tailoring to any needs. Top tip for those who have not used wood burning hot tubs before, they take a wee while to warm up but on the flip side, if you go too far, they take equally as much effort to cool down
