We spent a week in Dukums House as a family of 5, and had a fabulous time here. The cottage is beautifully presented, spacious and well equipped. There were thoughtful touches to the items left (radios and books to use, a map of the local area, good quality linens), as well as comfortable furniture and a very well equipped kitchen. This property is a stunning place to have quality time with family. The open plan kitchen/diner/ sitting room provides a good communal area. The bedrooms are spotless and lovely. The hosts are very accommodating. The hot tub is great fun for chilling out and we used the games area a lot. Our only niggle was that although the on-suite is a good sizeRead more, the family shower room is small. All guests needed to use the on-suite too. This is a lovely property, just right for our family of two adults with our adult children. We loved the walk to the Beacon, the spacious living area, the games room and especially the hot tub. Really well located for Haynes, Tank and Bealieu museums, the Dorset coast and countryside. We plan to return ! Hide

We cannot fault this holiday home. Absolutely stunning - it is a little cramped for sleeping space when you are all adults and only 2 toilets/bathrooms was slightly tricky at times! Saying this though, we all agreed it didnt really matter as the living space is far more important for us to enjoy! The garden is wonderful and the hot tub an added joyRead more! We loved the games room & played rounders on the communal garden. Brilliant host Nigel was fantastic and very helpful! Definitely will visit again! Hide

Lovely property in a lovely location. Well equipped and mostly very happy with it. Owners were unobtrusive but it lacks privacy generally if that's important to you. Spacious for our large family group in all respects except toilet facilities which were inadequate for the number it accommodates.
