Take one happy hound with you if you choose to this character-filled, one-bedroom stone and wood abode. Sit outside in your private garden to soak up the serenity and the magnificent views out across the undulating countryside. Wander down to the secluded beach to swim, sunbathe and enjoy sweeping vistas of the famous Jurassic Coast.

Head into the welcoming, single-storey cottage to find creatively designed accommodation within the extended home. Enjoy the inviting lounge where you can unwind after long days out in scenic Dorset. Watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV, choose a film from the Amazon Fire stick, or listen to the radio and play tunes through the Amazon Echo. Drive 8 miles to Mapperton House, where you can tour the Jacobean manor and its gardens.

Perfect accommodation for solo traveller like myself. The Welcome pack with homemade bread and jam, etc, with milk and spread in the fridge, was a lovely touch. Great views from the windows and the dog and i appreciated the little garden, as weather was superb for October. Really lovely area, the coastal path, and lots of walks. We enjoyed a lovely week at The Beehive. A very comfortable cottage, with everything you might need thought of and catered for. Others have mentioned the shower/bathroom is small, yes it is but then we can see that in the property photos and details, so it should be no surprise! It's absolutely fine! A lovely bijou beautifully though out and equipped cottage with a cute little garden looking towards the countryside. Very comfortable bed and garden recliner chairs . Drop off bay is a little way from the cottage so you need to consider how you pack for easy transfer from the car it is NOT possible to stop and unload outside the cottage entrance .Read more There is an allotted car parking space for the cottage about 3 mins walk away We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area lovely walks Hide

Fabulous cottage! Wonderful views from the garden and it was a pleasure to sit in the sun on the decking each day. The cottage is imaginatively thought out and beautifully furnished. Very clean too. We so appreciated the gifts left for us including homemade bread and plum jam. Delicious! We enjoyed walking straight from the cottage and to the pub jRead moreust up the Lane. Lovely position with good walking on your doorstep. The bathroom is a bit small. Overall, good kitchen facilities and a comfy bed.

The bathroom (cant really call it that it is smaller than my larder) is ludicrous it seriously needs a rethink you cant get a wash the basin is a cloakroom basin not a bathroom basin, the shower you cant move in it which makes hair washing etc v difficult & we are both small people, god help people of a larger size ! Renew the steps down to the garRead moreden they are too high & very bendy. The garden furniture cheap & old & v dirty hadnt even been wiped over for our arrival let alone anyone else. Hide

We had a fantastic time at the beehive cottage. The views were amazing and the cottage itself had everything you need. We had great fun playing board games when it rained and beautiful walks on the beach when the sun was out. Great place to take your dog as well! Im sure we will visit again in the warmer months.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our elderly dog. Poor old arthritic dog had a bit of difficulty getting down the steep wooden steps into the garden but a younger dog would have no problem.

Beautiful location, with lovely countryside views , peaceful location. Comfortably furnished with lots of extras provded --- ie welcome pack. The only slight niggle was the compact shower cubicle !! The grden & furniture was ra ther lovely& perfect for a couple & one dog.

We had such a lovely time at beehive cottage. The place is small but very well thought out, we have a 1 year old and a small dog and it didnt feel cramped. Its located in a really beautiful part of Dorset. Very clean and well equipped. Thank you for a wonderful week.
