Head up the drive to find your holiday retreat set into an idyllic verdant landscape. Had a fab week staying in Bluebell & wouldnt hesitate to recommend Buckham Mills. The properties have been done to a very high standard & are set in a beautiful peaceful rural location perfect for visiting lots of lovely places including Lyme Regis & West Bay. We spent a week at the bluebell cottage. It was great for us very quiet snd peaceful. The local pub the Admiral Hood does great Good everyday. Be aware a lot of he local pubs and restaurants do not open Monday Tuesday and some even Wednesday. There is lot to see within a 25 mile radius. The cottage had everything we needed and outside there is a bbRead moreq and plenty of tables and seating. there are 4 cottages which used to be the old cow shed all are very similar but slightly different. We enjoyed our first visit to Dorset....staying in one of these cottages. The location and the cottage were lovely, It was a good base to explore Dorset....we also enjoyed spending time at the cottage too....it was a beautiful, peaceful place to relax.

A superb location, and some great weather for our second visit to Buckham Mills. We enjoyed a couple of visits ; Mapperton Gardens , and also Lyme Regis, both within easy reach. Very well organised holiday accommodation. The unit was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and certainly roomy for the two of us. The location was well away from traffic noise which enabled us to hear birdsong. Mosterton village was about one mile away where there was a decent branch of Spar and a pub. Very nice clean decor, nice kitchen and furniture. Warm with the added bonus of a wood burner if required. Everywhere was very clean with plenty of antibac cleaning products. Very quite location.

Wow what an amazing holiday would highly recommend we went away for a Relaxing Christmas getaway and that it certainly was the pictures were exactly what it was and the owners were so friendly welcoming and helpful. The views are stunning we even went for a walk to the shop which was amazing! Will definitely be coming back.

The cottage was lovely in a really nice rural and quiet setting. Tastefully decorated. It was exactly as the photos shown and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. Bed was super comfy. The organic milk was a very lovely touch.

It is peaceful and quiet - which was perfect for us. We loved the running river and deer that roamed through the fields around the property which was picturesque! This place has all the homely comforts; smart tv, big sofa, big bed, powerful shower and a smart looking log burner. Not to mention they have all amenities that we have in our own home. Lovely modern cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break. Well equipped, with a good range of cooking utensils. Owners onsite to help with anything you might need. The location is quite rural but suited us perfectly as it was lovely and peaceful. Easy to drive to places within Dorset, Devon and Somerset.

Lovely setting with deer seen most days in the next field. Although not seen during our week, we are told there are otters & a kingfisher in the stream, hares & badgers in the fields, which often can be seen walking through the farm.
