Inside, the property has been beautifully converted to offer spacious, bright and airy accommodation that’s perfect for romantic getaways for two. Rustle up tasty meals in the stylish shaker-style kitchen, which boasts modern units, oak worktops and a Lavazza coffee machine. Dine at the table for two before settling down on the leather sofa for a cosy evening of films or TV in front of the roaring wood burner. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to the beautiful king-size bedroom to rest beneath the exposed beams or indulge in a long soak in the en-suite bathroom. The cottage was very comfortable and fully equipped with all that's needed and more. The hot tub was very welcome, we used it several times. Would recommend this as a quiet getaway.

We stayed here with our 3 month old baby and it was perfect. The house had everything we needed, was comfortable, clean and the area quiet and tranquil. The view out of our bedroom window was lovely. Perfect getaway for a couple and their pooch. The property is beautifully decorated and set out, and the surrounding area is stunning. 5 stars without a doubt. The owners live on site and are very welcoming and friendly and cant do enough for you.

We had the most lovely stay here. The house was cosy, well equipped and sited in a beautiful location. The owners were super helpful and speedy with all queries, including providing a selection cake tins for my baking attempts. This was our second visit to Number 1 Curwens. My husband and I stayed in 2019 and this time we returned with our 6 month old daughter. The cottage is so comfortable and the grounds and views are beautiful. We really love it here and will definitely be back to cosy up in front of the log burner and watch the stars from the hot tub. We have just returned from a relaxing break over New Year with our dog. The cottage is beautiful, extremely clean and in a fantastic location. We enjoyed many walks from the cottage. The hot tub is a lovely touch-it will take 4 hours to heat up but it is worth it! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stunning cottage in a nice remote location. The wood burning hot tub was fab - it took a little time to heat up but once at temperature stayed warm for ages. Loved sitting at the bedroom juliette balcony window looking out across the fields, watching the sheep and cows. Very restful and relaxing which is what we needed. My partner and I stayed here for a week at the end of July. The property was easy to find, was very clean, cosy and to our taste.The location was a perfect base for us we got to visit so many different places all within a sensible driving time. Set in a stunning peaceful location. The Cottage has everything you could possibly need, even a picnic hamper! The hosts are very friendly and on hand if you need them. Absolutely beautiful cottage decorated brilliantly and in the most amazing landscape. The backyard area is very functional for allowing dogs in the fresh air while keeping them in. The Wooden Hot Tub is fantastic. Need to plan ahead as told and its easy to get to temperature and a cold water hose means you can bring below 40 degrees C if you go oveRead morer.
