A stylish single-storey property in the seaside village of Mudeford, ideally located for exploring both the coast and the delights of the New Forest National Park. Ideal for families, it offers three bedrooms.

Perfectly located for a seaside getaway with family and friends, walk from your door to Avon Beach (less than a mile) and spend sandy, salty days on the coast. Beautifully light and spacious, the open-plan living space welcomes you to spend quality time together after adventurous days and time in the great outdoors. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, escape for a seaside getaway and call this charming property, home.

Head inside this single-storey property and admire the stylish, calm and fresh ambience. Flooded with natural light from the bi-fold doors, spend time unwinding and relaxing on the pair of sofas which sit in front of the TV. Throw the doors open on balmy afternoons and let the fresh air inside or step out and enjoy a glass of something cold on the patio. Make your way over to the kitchen area where a handy island creates extra space for chopping, slicing and dicing and is a great place to gather with a morning coffee. Find all you need to cook up a storm which can be plated up at the dining table or outside. End your day with a soak in the family bathroom or a rinse in the master bedroom en-suite shower, before tucking up under the covers and drifting off. The two king-size bedrooms and the twin room are all decorated in fresh, light tones to help create a peaceful ambience. Pick up buggies from the useful utility room, grab surfboards from the garage (discuss with owners) and head outside to adventure. There is off-road parking for two cars and roadside parking nearby.

Pack your swimmers and bring the picnic along to Avon Beach (less than a mile). A short stroll away, you can leave the car behind and stretch your legs before settling on the sand and trying your hand at water sports. Hop on the Mudeford Ferry (1 mile) for an Adventure Voyage or to journey across the water to sand spit and cafe. Visit the stunning Highcliffe Castle which lies just 2 miles from your door and marvel at the grandeur of the building.

We loved 21. We were four and a toddler. He had space to play and toddle safely (no stairs) we had room to spread our things out. The open kitchen/dining/living area worked well for us. Comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe space and an easy walk to the beach. Happily recommend.

Lovely, comfortable house. Great location in a very quiet estate. We had a problem with the hot water which was quickly rectified. Really helpful response from the management company (Mark), thank you. Welcome treats of coffee, tea, milk biscuits and wine was a nice surprise! We enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this property.

Although it's just three hours from London and the South East, Dorset feels like a world away from the hubbub of the city. This gem of a county offers the very best of rural England: magnificent coastal scenery, vast sandy beaches, rolling hills, charming villages, country pubs, stately homes and medieval castles.

Take time to explore the dramatic and diverse coastline. Stretching 95 miles from East Devon to Poole, the Jurassic Coast has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is the only natural phenomenon in England to achieve this status. Here, visitors can uncover Earth's fascinating history whilst enjoying unspoilt views over superb beaches, many of which welcome canine companions too. From the iconic rural rock arch at Durdle Door to the endless sandy expanses of Studland, Dorset has it all.

Why not head to Lyme Regis, classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? Like much of West Dorset, it has an old-world ambience and offers excellent fossil hunting opportunities. Or head east to discover the beauty of Lulworth and the vibrant seaside resort of Swanage.

Steeped in history and with a certain quintessential charm, Dorset's glorious countryside is peppered with small towns and villages which are well worth a visit. Many are graced with fine buildings, immortalised in the books of Thomas Hardy, a Dorset-born novelist and poet. For more energetic visitors, footpaths and cycleways reveal the county's hidden secrets with the coast always close at hand for those who love the water.
