Well Court and Cottage, Corfe Castle: sleeps 19, 2 dogs

Well Court & Cottage

Live like royalty in this sumptuous country retreat, located in the heart of the much-loved village of Corfe Castle. Set within extensive grounds, this impressive luxury self-catering property exudes grandeur, inside and out. Perfect for a large family gathering, visitors can find their own space within the main house with its elegant drawing room and large dining room. In the evening you can spread out on to the terrace and gardens to make use of the dining pavilion, fire pit and BBQs. Big groups of extended family and friends can stay in comfort with an adjacent cottage providing additional accommodation.

What we love most: Its proximity to Corfe Castle & Lulworth Cove!

What our guests love: "We wanted to have the whole family together and it was perfect for this. Great fun and very friendly & helpful owners who added to our enjoyment." - Hugh

Porthole Penthouse, Swanage: sleeps 2

Porthole Penthouse

Set within an exclusive development on the water’s edge in Swanage, this stunning penthouse apartment enjoys an exclusive location on the Dorset coast. The ultimate retreat for two, you will wake up to panoramic views across Swanage Bay, drink in the glorious scenes from the spacious terrace and relax amongst a contemporary interior with playful splashes of colour. This tranquil location is the perfect luxury escape, with easy access to the shops, eateries and sandy bay of Swanage.

What we love most: The far-reaching views from the terrace and the quirky round windows that as the name suggests, resemble portholes on a boat.

What our guests love: "Fantastic, top-notch cottage that is very well equipped and very well situated. There is certainly a degree of luxury in how this cottage has been furnished - it has been well thought-out and well organised. Both the cottage and its' setting facilitated a great, restful holiday." - Dr A Wearmouth

Chalross, Studland: sleeps 10, 2 dogs

Chalross

Located in the tranquil village of Studland, this luxury holiday cottage provides an elegant space for families and groups to come together and relax in style. Complete with a playroom with a TV, books, games and toys, it's a great choice if you have children travelling with you. Outside is just as special, with an artificial lawn, flowerbeds, seating areas for alfresco dining and a hammock for peaceful afternoons in the sun. Close to Poole, Bournemouth and Swanage, the property is within easy reach of the most sought-after locations in Dorset.

What we love most: There is a garden gate that leads directly onto a National Trust footpath – perfect if you bring your canine with you.

What our guests love: "For a family or group of 8 adults and two grandchildren this is a perfect set up. Plenty of fridge and freezer space, well-equipped kitchen, good-sized bedrooms, excellent playroom facilities. And well within easy walking distance of local beaches, pub and restaurants. Quiet, light and airy, a perfect hub for a family holiday." - Tim

The Harbour Penthouse, West Bay: sleeps 4

This fabulous penthouse apartment looks directly over the picturesque harbour of West Bay, offering incredible 360-degree vistas from the marvellous wraparound balcony and from inside the property too. With plenty of ceiling-to-floor windows, you can gaze at the boats as they come and go from pretty much anywhere in the property. Decorated with a contemporary style and equipped with all the modern appliances you’ll need, this luxury property makes a stay in Dorset extra memorable.

What we love most: Its location! The shops, pubs and cafes of West Bay are approximately 100 yards from the front door.

What our guests love: "The Penthouse was fantastic, right from arrival with the lovely welcome touches by the housekeeper, to the facilities, decor & comfort. A really great location to relax in, yet with views of the hubbub of the harbour life below. The exterior has a wrap-around balcony so that different views of West Bay can be taken in. This also allows the possibility to get shade when the sun is too strong. We could find no fault with this property and would happily stay again and recommend to others." - J

Seaforth, Worth Matravers: sleeps 10, 1 dog

This bright and spacious luxury house to rent in the picturesque village of Worth Matravers doesn’t only look beautiful, but it is the perfect escape for big groups looking for a little luxury on their Dorset holiday. Finished with light and modern decor, it enjoys magnificent views of the sea and the Purbeck Hills. Groups and families are sure to be well-entertained by the games room with pool table and tennis table and the large garden with a trampoline and slide.

What we love most: This is also a great luxury dog-friendly cottage in Dorset. Bring your four-legged friend with you to complete your stay.

What our guests love: "We rented Seaforth to celebrate, as a family, my husbands 70th birthday....it was perfect. Our jaws dropped as we entered the house; everything was perfect. Plenty of space for 7 adults, 2 children, I dog. The games room kept us entertained in the evenings; the walls are probably still ringing with laughter. The only downside was leaving.....but we will be back!!" - Sue
