Enjoy a romantic break in this converted former coach house where you can relax in the private hot tub or spend your days exploring the surrounding areas.

This cosy cottage is located on the edge of the New Forest National Park, in the picturesque valley of Avon with local pub. Visit the coast, with beautiful beaches at Avon and Mudeford and further afield there is Bournemouth with pier and amusements, or take a short drive to Ringwood or Christchurch, where you will find a good selection of local amenities as well as boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. Should you be feeling energetic there is an outdoor activity centre nearby or perhaps take a trip to the fishing lakes. The property is also ideally located for the outdoor enthusiasts, with many cycling and walking routes close by.

Heading inside the property you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has been furnished to meet all your holiday cooking requirements, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Relax in the cosy lounge after a day of exploring whilst watching a film on the Smart TV. Also, on the ground floor is the dining area with table for two, perfect for a romantic meal or lazy breakfast. Next door, completing this floor, is the shower room with WC. From the lounge, take the stair to the mezzanine style, double bedroom, with restricted head height.

Stepping outside the property is a private terrace area with garden furniture, charcoal BBQ and hot tub, perfect for stargazing or a spot of al fresco dining. Off-road parking for one car is available to the rear of the cottage with shared path leading to the entrance.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Stayed in The Coachmans cottage. My husband, our fox red lab and I enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Extremely clean throughout and all COVID precautions in place. Sally and Simon have literally thought of everything, recommended walking routes, pubs/restaurants, dog shower, dog treats, doggie towels, hot tub, bbq, bbq coals and much more. Perfect home away from home! My wife and I spent 4 nights here for our stay at home honeymoon. The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. We loved all the extra little touches you don't normally find on the larger, more well know forest retreats. Great to see somewhere that is so dog friendly and even has a doggy shower should you need it. Honestly couldnt fault anything. Considering were still in a pandemic (albeit hopefully near the end), everything was superb, clean, safe and well looked after. The cottage was small but by no means in a bad way, because it was cosy. It was comfortable, and well maintained. We had a great week at this property. Very well presented, very clean and in an exceptional location. The facilities were good and everything we needed was there. Accommodation is great, very private and within a beautiful setting. A lovely welcome by the owners on our arrival. Location of amenities only a short drive/ walk from accommodation. An absolutely fantastic place to stay, cosy, clean and very well stocked with the essentials. The dog shower was excellent given the rain and muddy walks we had, taking the stress away from worrying about the dog making a mess! The cottage was situated in a lovely quiet area within a short drive to many local beaches and places of interest. We had a lovely weeks stay at Coachmans Cottage. It is tastefully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed to get away from it all. The fizz, cake and dog treats were a really nice touch. It probably the best dog friendly place we've visited, it even had a "boot room" where we could shower off our muddy pup! Some lovely walks around and the whole flat was beautifully cosy.

Situated in a nice quiet location, but near main routes to visit local attractions and with a pub/hotel practically next door and another a nice walk across the local fields.
