Dorset pubs near the coast

In Dorset, we take our food and drink very seriously… Below is just a small selection of the Dorset pubs our coastal villages and towns have to offer. The dramatic views of the Jurassic Coast are what makes many of these places so special. It will come as no surprise that due to their amazing coastal locations, most of these Dorset pubs are steeped in smuggling history! Whilst we understand that the point of booking a self catering holiday cottage in Dorset is to cook for yourself, no holiday in Dorset would be complete without a visit to at least one or two of these fantastic pubs or cafes.
For more information about our favourites visit their websites and to see where is best to enjoy with your dog then visit our “Dog friendly beaches and attractions” page. These venues are listed from East to West not in order of preference!!
