There is a choice of three pubs, each about a mile away and led to by well-marked village trails. For families, there is a range of local attractions close by including Monkey World, the Tank Museum and Lulworth Castle. If you like walking, whether it be a short stroll, a brisk walk or a long hike, Winfrith Newburgh has a lot to offer with public footpaths and dedicated trails.

There are lots of walking routes from leisurely walks under 10 km around Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Ridge up to more challenging walks around Ringstead and Chaldon Herring - whatever your level, there is a walk for everybody in this delightful area.
