Settle down on one of the comfortable sofas and watch a film after a busy day exploring the Jurassic Coast. All guests can fit around the dining table to enjoy an evening meal together. Upstairs are the two neutrally toned bedrooms, one of which is a triple room with three single beds, ideal for children. Through patio doors from the lounge is an enclosed private patio area. Guests here have access to the neighbouring holiday park, which has a cafe, children’s play area, gym, sauna, steam room and an outdoor heated swimming pool.
Charmouth has pubs, shops and a magnificent beach, all within walking distance. The beach is backed by striking cliffs, and the stretches of coast that lead from here are beautifully unspoilt. Lyme Regis (4.5 miles) has a traditional promenade with striped deckchairs and little cafes for you to pick up an ice cream on a summer’s day. Children will love a trip to Crealy Theme Park (30 miles) with its many rides, attractions, zoo and live shows. Keen walkers will find spectacular routes along the Jurassic coastline and a trip to the National Trust’s Golden Cap (4 miles) is a must for fantastic views out to sea.
