Self-catering holiday accommodation in Lulworth Cove
Lulworth Cove is a very popular destination in Dorset, mainly due to its beautiful white pebbled beach with sparkling blue waters. Wonderful rock pools teeming with crabs and starfish are revealed when the tide is low which are great fun to explore. Dogs will enjoy this beach too and they are permitted on the left-hand side of the slipway. Almost lagoon-like in shape, its nearly-closed horseshoe shape with small entrance for boats to come in and out, gives it the feel of an island retreat, far away from the rest of the world.
Lulworth Cove is world-famous for its unique geology and landforms including the Lulworth Crumple and Stair Hole. The visitors’ centre has some great exhibitions explaining how the geology here has changed throughout time. There are a superb range of activities and attractions in and around Lulworth Cove, and Lulworth itself, to keep you and the whole family entertained, from bathing in the crystal-clear water to taking a fun boat trip or fossil-hunting along the pretty shoreline.
